  13. #3: Jog the Web • What is it?Description: • Provides a step by step approach of taking viewers through a website and allows the author to annotate and ask the learner questions for each web page • A great way to help learners stay on track; they follow the sequence of websites that are established in the “jog” and cannot visit other sites

This ensures that they are going only to pre-approved tracks or websites that have been set by library media specialist • Create questions or things you want students to discover during the jog • Comparable to an Internet Scavenger Hunt except more directed and focused

Great way to keep current on what is happening in the library media world. Click Subscribe with Google Reader on your favorite blog and read latest information as it becomes available • Eliminates the need to go out on the web to access your favorite websites and blogs- it pulls them all into one standard place- Google Reader

  19. #5: Shelfari • What is it? Description - Shelfari is a social network for book lovers. You can create shelves with virtual books, see what others are reading, explore books by tags, rate books and find out about new books you haven’t read!

A social way to learn and share with others • A great tool to use for a school book club as a way to promote and share books with each other

  31. Sketchcast • What is it? Description? • Sketchcasting is a way to communicate • User records a sketch, optionally with your voice speaking • Any sketch can then be embedded on your blog/ homepage for play-back
