  2. St. Therese of Lisieux • She was born on January 2, 1873 • Her feast day is October 1 • She became a Saint because she devoted her life to God at a very young age.

  3. St. Therese of Lisieux • 3 important facts • Her mother died when she was 4 years old • At age 15 she became a nun (a Carmelite sister) • She died of tuberculosis on September 30, 1897

  4. St. Therese of Lisieux • We chose this Saint because she is my favorite Saint and I pray to her every night to help me be a good person, mother, teacher, and friend. • In order to be like St. Therese I should look for little ways that I can be a blessing to others like St. Therese was.

O Little Flower of Jesus, ask God today to grant the favors I now place with confidence in your hands…(mention specific requests). St. Therese, help me to always believe as you did in God’s great love for me, so that I might imitate your “Little Way” each day. Amen.
