WHO? Employees on Salary Schedules E and H (or Non-Exempt Employees)
WHAT? Completing Monthly Time Sheets (Paper copies for now – Web Time Entry at a future date)
WHEN? • Beginning September 16th, the time sheets will be completed for the 16th through the 15th and they will be due in the Office of Human Resources on the 16th.
WHERE? • They can be found on the Human Resources portion of the website and labeled Time Sheets. There could be several months on the website at one time, but you will just complete the one appropriate for the current month’s pay.
In compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act, the purpose of the form is to report hours worked or leave taken by non-instructional support. It also serves to provide a continuous record of compensatory leave earned and taken by the employee. WHY?
HOW?: • Instructions on completing the time sheet will be emailed to you soon, but some of the basic points about the time sheet: • All overtime requires prior approval of the supervisor. The approval form (also located on the Human Resources forms page) should be attached to the time sheet. • Leave forms should continue to be submitted as leave is taken. The approved, signed leave forms should accompany the time sheet. • Supervisors are requested to collect all time sheets in your area before turning them in to the Office of Human Resources on the 16th.
