29. Mercy, God does not give us the punishment we deserve

30. As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. 3All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath. Ephesians 2:1-3

37. But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions--it is by grace you have been saved. Ephesians 2:4-5

38. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

40. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10

41. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us Ephesians 3:20

42. Because He Lives God sent His son they called Him, Jesus He came to love heal and forgive He lived and died to buy my pardon, An empty grave is there to prove my Savior lives!

43. Because He lives I can face tomorrow Because He lives All fear is gone

44. Because I know Who holds the future My life is worth the living Just because He lives

45. How sweet to hold a newborn baby, And feel the pride and joy he gives; But greater still the calm assurance: This child can face uncertain days because He Lives!

46. And then one day, I'll cross the river, I'll fight life's final war with pain; And then, as death gives way to vict'ry, I'll see the lights of glory and I'll know He lives!
