  8. What is Evidence? Your work, Your thoughts, Your application • Work based Evidence • Audits, Management Reports, Presentations, Email Communications, Witness Statements • Reflective Reports • Evidence of explaining how you developed the evidence, explaining your knowledge the subject, and answering the question posed • What is not Evidence • Work by Others e.g. Company Reports, HSE documents, copying Paragraph’s from other sources

  9. What do the assessors look for? Evidence that is • Valid – relate to the requirements of the standard ‘ Authentic – candidates own work Current – recent enough to show candidate still possesses these skills (usually within 2 years). Sufficient – when the quality and quantity of evidence is sufficient to satisfy the assessor that competence has been achieved

  13. Appeals procedure Step one – please raise issue with your assessor Step two - candidate submits written appeal to the internal verifier for investigation. Step three - if issue unresolved it can be escalated to City and Guilds.
