  1. 4 STEPS TO PROTECT YOUR Dog from allergy We often found our dog gets allergies and we don’t know what causing them. One of its main reason is food that we providing them that’s why pet food is very essential for your dog, we must keep an eye on their diet.

  2. Detect presence of an allergy It’s very important to know the change in the behavior of your dog. You must look for a skin problem, for instance scratching because rough skin leads the dog to scratch continuously. The skin of an allergic dog may turn red and flaky. you have to check up on him! See if there is inflammation in its ear and if it has lately started shaking its head more often because the dog won’t come to tell that he is not feeling well.

  3. Consult a vet, you're not a vet! You should go to the vet rather than treating your dog at your own because it can lead to worsening the condition of the dog. If the vet doesn’t seem sympathetic and caring enough then you must go to another. The veterinary doctor will suggest you exclusive diet to see if the symptoms go away.

  4. Hypo-allergenic diet If you find any symptoms of allergy in your dog you can directly switch to hypo-allergenic diet for it. Compared to exclusive diet, hypo-allergenic diet will get rid of allergy earlier but you won’t able to know what particular ingredient your dog is allergic to. But all you need to do is consult the doctor first and follow his advice rather than removing nutrients from a dog’s diet is a bad idea.s

  5. Treating a wheat allergic dog The big question here is that what to do if your dog is found to be allergic to wheat? Get your dog a good wheat free diet after consulting the doctor or go for an exclusive diet for 12 weeks. Don’t give your dog chew toys as it will lead to a delayed treatment and also don’t forget to read the labels on the dog food packaging to prevent accident wheat inclusion in the diet of the pet.
