Enhancing Quality: NMU’s Commitment to AQIP Accreditation and Continuous Improvement

Northern Michigan University (NMU) is dedicated to maintaining its AQIP accreditation through a structured appraisal process. Every seven years, NMU undergoes a reaccreditation visit, alongside annual action projects to foster institutional improvement. The AQIP Systems Portfolio consists of an extensive overview of NMU's functions, improvement cycles, and strategic issues, assessed through a set of comprehensive questions. Our continuous improvement culture is bolstered through collaborative retreats and the identification of best practices shared with peer institutions, ensuring our commitment to excellence.
