  9. The Silk Road Bazaar • 14 World History classes • Different country/region per class • Trade, government, religion, art/culture • 2 lessons for each • databases & web evaluation • Outdated, not helpful print collection • 6 days • End product: Silk Road Bazaar

  10. Still working on… • The collection • 16,000 volumes/items • Collection age: 1982 • Web Site • Interim solution • Physical space • Old school design and philosophy • Clutter • Outdated/inadequate technology: 16 desktops circa 2000, 6 newish laptops, network shared with town.
