Effects of Olmesartan Medoxomil and PD-123319 on BALF in Experimental Models

This study investigates the impact of olmesartan medoxomil and PD-123319 on bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) across different dosing regimens in two distinct experiments. In Experiment 1, varying concentrations of olmesartan (0.1 mg/kg and 1 mg/kg, administered orally) are evaluated alongside vehicle and saline controls on Day 0, Day 7, and Day 14. Experiment 2 examines the effects of PD-123319 (0.5 mg/kg and 5 mg/kg, subcutaneously) compared to saline control, focusing on their influence on BALF.
