  3. When the Library subscribes, we give the Rice computer addresses to the publisher … who now recognizes you as a paid up customer!

  4. But how do you get what you need when you aren’t on campus?!

  5. Links on the Library or Owl-space will take you to the Rice proxy, where you will be identified as a valid Rice user Rice proxy Off campus user

  6. The Rice Proxy sign on screen will look like this. Just use your NetID and password

  7. Non-Rice sources do not know about the Rice proxy … Rice proxy Off campus user Denied! So you cannot get to our digital library resources
