  7. Some Interview Questions with a mother of autistic children How did having an autistic child change your family? Did you have to change your family routine? It drastically changed my family and my family’s routine. Everything had to be planned and organized. There was no more getting up and going. My children were not adaptable to change Did having autistic children change your relationship with your other child? Yes, there were times when I felt I wasn’t there for her. It was hard to try and make sure I spent time with her. I think that now I am catching back up to her now we are able to spend more time together.

  8. Some Interview Questions With a Sister of Autistic Children. Have you had to make sacrifices because of your brothers? Brothers come first. I always try to make sure they have something to do. I have not had to sacrifice hanging out with friends or going out on weekends, but sometimes I just want to spend time with my brothers. Does it bother you when people make jokes about people who are retarded or make jokes around people with disorders? Yes, it’s offensive and rude. Find another word to use.
