  5. Decoding Memori • Fungsinya: • Menghubungkan µP dengan > 1 memori • Mengatasiketidakcocokanjumlah pin (∑ pin µP > ∑ pin memoriatau I/O) ex : 8088 (20 pin) dengan EPROM 2716 (11 pin)

  6. Decoder NAND Sederhana • Fungsi : jika pin mikroprosesor > pin memori, makamikroprosesorhanyabisamengaksessebanyak pin dimemori, padahal yang terlihatolehmikroprosesorsebanyak pin mikroprosesor, halinitidakkonsistensehinggamemerlukan NAND Gate • Cara hubungan pin : pin mikroprosesorsebanyakjumlah pin memoridihubungkanlangsung, sisanyadihubungkanke NAND. Output dari NAND dijadikan select input • Contoh : EPROM 2K x 8 (2716)

  8. b. Dekoder3-to-8 (34LS138) • Tipe 34LS138 adalahactive low, sehingga pin yang aktifnilainya ‘0’, sedangkan yang tidakaktifdiberinilai ‘1’. 8 Selection input 8 output 3 Enable input Input dalam bit : C B A Output sesuaikonversibiner-digital: 0 0 0 = 0 pin 0 aktif 0 1 0 = 2 pin 2 aktif

  10. Contoh • Hubungkanlah 8 buah RAM yang masing-masingberukuran 32 K byte (32K x 8) kemikroprosesor 8088 dangambarkanrangkaiannya!! • Jikaalamataksesdimulaidari 00000H, berapaalamatakhirnya??

  11. Latihan • Hubungkan 16 buah ROM yang masing-masingberukuran 8 K x 8 kemikroprosesor 8088. Jikaalamatdimulaidari 40000H, berapaalamatakhirnya? Gunakanlah 1 buah decoder 2 to 4 dan 2 buah decoder 3 to 8.
