The Role and Functions of National Libraries

National libraries serve as the primary repositories of a country's information, heritage, and literature. They collect and preserve various materials like monographs, serials, manuscripts, and more. Different departments within these libraries manage functions such as collection development, bibliographic control services, and reader promotions. National libraries play a crucial role in upholding national pride and integrity.
