  1. 5 Tips to make your kids school mornings easier Does your morning feel like a marathon? This morning madness is the story of every parent, once their kid starts going to the school. Scroll down for the ways to make mornings easier for your kids and less-frazzled for parents like you: 1)Proactive night before. It’s suggested that parent’s should be proactive when it comes to packing bags, signing permission slips, etc. For all those who are not a morning person, it’ suggested that you should all make the arrangements a night before. As in the early hour of the day, little things will consume all your precious family moments. During the summer break kids tend to get lax and their bedtime gets a bit later. Try to inculcate the habits of getting up on school time a week before their school starts, as then only it will become their habit. However, after a long, demanding day it becomes difficult to put off what you can until the next day. On the other hand, leaving things for the next day when your mind is still waking up makes things harder in the morning. 2)Sleeping habits While you are making sure that your kid is following his bedtime routine regularly; make sure that you are keeping a check on your sleeping habits as well. This way you are not only ensuring healthy habits of your kids, but also for your own self. The healthy sleeping habits are equally important for you, so that in the mornings you can perform your chores with ease. The amount of sleep required varies from person to person. So, going on time will make you less cranky and your mornings less bizarre. And, every task performed in the mornings will go smoothly. Make preparations for the next morning, like putting off what you can until the next day. Yet, leaving things for when your brain is still waking up only makes things harder in the morning. 3)Make time for your own self It’s easy to get engrossed in performing your daily chores that you hardly get time for your own self, so get up before your kids. It then becomes very important to take out some ‘me- time’, for your own self. Even if that is for ten minutes, whether it is for having bed tea or reading the morning paper or whatever you love doing for making yourself relaxed. After you are done with your ‘me-time’, then with a peaceful mindset you can continue with your regular routine. A calmer and relaxed attitude will set you up for the rest of your day.

  2. 4)Stay Calm Have you ever noticed that your anxiety affects the pace of your kids? If not, then next time, watch them carefully! It is observed that the more you rush in the early hours for getting your kids ready, the sluggish your little one becomes. In case you find them dragging their feet, you should take a break from whatever you are doing and see why the little one is behaving in such manner. Immediately, do something to make them moving. The best way to make your kids act fast is to assign them some work. Squat down to their level to make an eye contact and explain to them in a pleasant tone the reason you need their assistance at that moment and give them a task. Moreover, your work will get a little light and make your mornings a bit easier. 5)Give them motivation for getting ready One of the greatest key to avoid stress in the morning is giving yourself and your kids enough space to get dressed without getting stressed. As we all know, most of them are very reluctant to go to school in the first place; it becomes difficult to motivate your kids for getting ready and reaching school on time. When you offer your kids something tempting, it can then keep them motivated to get up and get ready for school. For instance, try giving them some extra time for watching cartoons, a short trip on the weekend, buying their favorite toy or something similar.
