The Integrated Catchment Planning Framework (iCPF) outlines a dynamic and collaborative approach for developing wastewater asset plans with a 25-year horizon. This ensures that investment and operational strategies remain suitable across multiple regulatory price control cycles. The region is divided into 63 sub-catchments based on river basin boundaries. UU Water has organized its Wastewater Planning around these catchment areas, aligning long-term strategies with the objectives of the Water Framework Directive. A multidisciplinary 'Core Team' of stakeholders, including representatives from the Environment Agency, drives investment and operational strategy development.
