Amy’s CSE 3 Labs Computational Thinking CSE 3 teaches the basic skills that we need for computer programming. Making Info Available to the World with HTML and Web Pages Desktop publishing with MS Word Presentation of Information with MS PowerPoint For Lab 2 we used the different functions of Microsoft Word to publish a page with different layouts so our information looks presentable. For this lab we used the different functions of Excel such as formulas and calculations to predict the trend of the stocks that we have chosen. We created a webpage online where we could transfer our HTML and other files and put it up online so the public can see it. Data Analysis and Visualization with MS Excel Visual Programming with Alice Dynamic Webpage Programming with JavaScript For this lab we used the program Alice to create objects and edit their movements using by calling methods and using loops to repeat these methods. We used the different functions of Microsoft Excel such as formulas and the auto-fill function to calculate our annual income and expenses for our career. For this lab we used Javascript to create buttons to make surveys more interactive.
