  2. The Day We Won The Bid • On the 6th of July 2005 the British Olympic association won the bid to hold the 30th modern Olympic games in London. the celebrations soon quietened the day after when London suffered a terrorist attack to the transport links on the

  3. The Olympic stadium • The design of the stadium was released on the 7th of November 2007 and was designed by the architectural firm populous. the build cost £486 million and will now be used as west hams new ground after the Olympics is over
