Form • Form • 1. What is bullying? • Bullying and a conflict are two different things. A conflict is when two people are fighting verbally or physically. The consequences for this child will become harsher if eventually the case is not brought up. • Is there a law against bullying? • Yes, “Pupils’ school environment, Chapter 9a of the Education Act” • Chapter 9a of the Education Act came into force on 1st April 2003. Under the new provisions, “all pupils in primary lower secondary and upper secondary schools are entitled to a good physical and psycho-social environment that will promote health, well-being and learning”. How can parents help their children who have been bullied? • The parent’s should contact the teacher, the bully’s parents and if necessary the school principle.
