Physical Therapy Industry • The rehabilitation therapy industry in the US consists of about 20,000 practices with combined annual revenue of about $11 billion dollars. • Small companies compete by developing positive relationships with local healthcare providers and delivering superior customer service

  6. IREX Environments • IREX uses fun and stimulating activities to motivate patients of all ages • With over 20 virtual environments, patients will participate in therapy treatment while playing games such as football, soccer, or volleyball

  8. Gesture and IREX • Use computers and cameras to measure output of patient • The therapist can specify and measure the range of motion, the frequency of successful exercises and number of repetitions • Can determine effort and accuracy of patient throughout program

  9. IREX provides a unique camera system which continuously tracks and records each patient’s exercises and progress.

  10. Individuality • By recording each session, the camera session allows therapists to create individual treatment • By having personalized treatments, patients develop a more personal relationship with therapists.
