  1. Thanking Jesus . . . Thanking Jesus he came for sinners!

  2. I thank him who has given me strength, Christ Jesus our Lord, because he judged me faithful, appointing me to his service, though formerly I was a blasphemer, persecutor, and insolent opponent. But I received mercy because I had acted ignorantly in unbelief, and the grace of our Lord overflowed for me with faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost. -- 1 Timothy 1:12-16

  3. But thanks be to God, that you who were once slaves of sin have become obedient from the heart to the standard of teaching to which you were committed. -- Romans 6:17

  4. 2. Thanking Jesus for his sustaining grace towards redeemed sinners! For I delight in the law of God, in my inner being, but I see in my members another law waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members. Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! -- Romans 7:22-25

  5. 3. Thanking Jesus for using “the weak” for Gospel work! But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere. For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are perishing, to one a fragrance of from death to death, the other a fragrance of from life to life. Who is sufficient for these things? -- 2 Corinthians 2:14-16

  6. Scandal of Grace Grace what have you done? Murdered for me on that cross Accused in absence of wrong My sin washed away in your blood Too much to make sense of it all I know that your love breaks my fall the scandal of grace, you died in my place So my soul will live!
