The Dreki Licensing Area • The northern Dreki Area is part of the Jan Mayen Micro-Continent (JMMC) with indications of continental strata and suitable structures • Similarities to the middle East Greenland coast that is part of Greenland Licensing areas, the Møre- and Vøring Basins at the Norwegian coast, which are proven hydrocarbon provinces Jan Mayen Northern Dreki Area

Started on 3 October 2011 Deadline for applications was 2 April 2012 Three applications received Eykon Energy Faroe Petroleum and Iceland Petroleum Valiant Petroleum and Kolvetni Evaluations of applications ongoing Aim to grant licences at latest at end of November 2012 Norway (Petoro) may participate as an active partner with up to 25% in any licence granted within the agreement area Second Icelandic licensing round – northern Dreki Area
