Tele-education (Knowledge sharing, Continuous Medical Education, Sharing of surgical & interventional skills, virtual Class room, capacity building of HRH etc) Access to specialty consultation (Tele-consultation, Tele-follow-up, m-Health applications, remote monitoring, Tele-pathology, Tele-cardiology, Tele-radiology, Tele-dermatology, Tele-ophthalmology, Tele-oncology, etc services) Access to electronic Knowledge repositories (e-Books, e-Journals, and open source web knowledge resource), creating Digital Library infrastructure facilitating medical researchers and knowledge seekers to have continuing education programme (e-CME) in respect of basic and recent developments in the health medical fields Objectives

Supply, Installation, Training and Commissioning of requisite equipment for the Telemedicine Platform and Maintenance for five years from date of commissioning Access to specialty consultation as per Bill of Material approved by the National Standardization group and ratified by the working group Up gradation of existing Central HUB (NRC), RRC and Creation of Disaster Recovery Site Services to be provided by the Agency during the project period as defined in the DPR Operation of the Telemedicine platform and Network for Distance medical educationusing all possible digital educational technologies Operation of Telemedicine platform for Tele-healthcare services Development of Medical Multimedia Educational Content Design, development, hosting and maintenance of National e-CME portal Operation and maintenance of Data Centre at NRC and DR Site. Appropriate manpower with required knowledge & skill should be deployed. Maintenance of all equipments Scope of the work

Network Architecture • NMCN would ride over NKN : High speed optic fiber backbone • Utilization of NKN bandwidth at three different locations in Medical Colleges/ RRC, hence internal network configuration needed • Availability of Reliable Physical Fiber over CAT6/ Wireless • Integration of NKN with Campus WiFi/ LAN/ WAN (Not to be funded under NMCN)
