  2. The Shoshone Tribe The Shoshone tribe was also called the snake Indians. They ate salmon , rabbit , insects ,nuts, and rodents. they lived in the tipi and the sweat house.

  3. The Kootenai tribe They were called the river people and the Kutenai. They ate fish , birds , seeds , elk , moose , roots , berries , nuts , and duck.

  4. The Kalispell tribe Anther name for this tribe is the pend d’ Oreille. they ate or hunt meat berries , roots , and duck. They lived in the longhouse , tipi , and the sweat lodge. They put rattlesnake poison on the end of there spears to kill.

  5. The Coeur d’ Alene They were called the camas people because they ate a lot of camas and bitterroot. They lived in the longhouse and the tipi . they ate salmon , deer , and whitefish.

  6. Nez Perce tribe The nez Perce tribe was also called the “ne-me-poo” . They ate deer , rabbit , ducks ,berries , roots , nuts , and salmon and they also lived in the longhouse and the tipi.

  7. The Bannock Tribe They lived close to the Shoshone tribe in the southern part of Idaho. They lived in the wind and sun shelter and the longhouse.
