  1. WP9: Decision Support System EuroDeSS Overview and Plans

  2. EuroDeSS Objectives Overall: • To develop elements of integrated marine services in support of short and long term decisions (crisis response, planning, environmental management) in European seas, based on information products generated by the ECOOP system of systems [downstream services] Specific: • To define the specifications of EuroDeSS, based on existing elements of DeSS operating in European seas • To develop components EuroDeSS in selected targeted areas where elements of such systems already exist (funding limitations) • To operate and demonstrate the value of EuroDeSS for a targeted period • To evaluate the performance of EuroDeSS and assess its impact, in consultation with end-users. Building on developments of national (Polcoms, Moncoze, Poseidon, Adricosm etc) and EU / ESA projects (Mersea_s1, Mersea, Coastwatch, Roses, Marcoast) Using EuroMISS tools and standards, developments of WP5 WP6 & WP7
