Setting up an e-mail account - Technical To create a Gmail account simply click on create an account and the following should show: The URL for Gmail: If you already have a Gmail account enter your username and password then click on sign in, you can change the accessibility to stay signed in the next time you access Gmail by clicking stay signed in as a tick will show to your option.

  3. Creating a password is very important as this will be the security to your account. Use at least 8 characters. Don’t use a password from another site, or something too obvious like your pet’s name for a securer account. Which a confirmation will also be asked to confirm you can remember your chosen password. You will then be asked to retype the writing to which if done right you will be able to continue. Lastly you may be asked to agree to their terms and conditions, not doing so will mean you cannot continue as you will not be agreeing with their rules.

  4. Once you made your account this should come up to clarify you now have access to g mail. You will also be asked to verify your account, to be able to access g-mail, as verifying to be positive you would like an account.

  5. Adding Contacts – Non Technical Now you have done the following, click the icon on the right to add contacts.

If you scroll down to the bottom of your Gmail account page, you would see a link next to “Last Account Activity” that shows details about the activity happened on your account. Check Email Settings and Options Regularly. If your account is compromised, a sneaky hacker, who wants to stay undetected, can just change a small detail on your account.
