  6. Exhalation and Filtration On exhalation, disc valve closes forcing exhaled gas through the medical grade filter before passing through the exhalation valve

  7. Variable FiO2 Patented entrainment valve allows intentional blending with room air for variable FiO2 while acting as antisuffocation protection in the event of gas failure
