  2. Giant Panda is a mammal which belongs to the family of bears • Panda is one of the most endangered animals in the world • About 1 600 pandas living in the wild and about 160 in institutions

  3. GENERAL • Giant Panda lives in mountainous regions such as Tibet and Sichuan • Eating bamboo, eggs and sometimes fish and insects • Giant panda reaches a size 120-150 cm • Weight adult pandas reaches 75-160 kg

  4. LIFESTYLE • Pandas live on the ground and are very good climbers and swimmers • Unlike bears, can't stand up on his hind legs • Active mainly at dusk and at night, while sleeping in hollow trees, crevices in rocks or caves

  5. ADVICE • Don´t kill the pandas because they are protected species and very beautiful animals. • In China kill panda was punishable by death, but after 1997 years punishment was transferred to 20 years in prison.
