  1. 2013 Annual Lecture – Imperial Oil-Lincoln McKay Chair in American Studies SENECA FALLS, SELMA, AND STONEWALL: Symbolism and Social Change Wednesday, April 10, 2013 І 4:00 p.m. І Alberta Room, Dining Centre, University of Calgary, Free Public Lecture Elizabeth Jameson is a social historian who has, throughout her career, researched movements for social change and the inseparable historical constructions of race, class, gender, and sexualities. A native Texan, she grew up in the segregated South during the growth of the Civil Rights Movement. Her publications include All that Glitters: Class, Conflict, and Community in Cripple Creek and (with Susan Armitage), Writing the Range: Race, Class and Culture in the Women’s West.
