  2. Why is it important to SARTS? • This is an International event to commemorate 100 years of scouting in Singapore • 2000 to 3000 Scouts from many countries will be in Singapore • The scouts movement has had a relationship with SARTS spanning more than 40 years • We NEED the exposure

  3. Station A: • Introduction to Amateur Radio • Several Videos • Slide Shows

  4. Station B: • Communication methods of interest to scouts and outdoor enthusiasts: • Morse Code (with practice) • Simple line comms with mic and ear piece (e.g. as used in cave exploration) • Simple Scout Quiz: • Estimate height of comms tower without climbing up

  5. Station C: • Amateur Radio Stations: • HF • VHF • Walkie Talkie

  6. Please volunteer: • Its for a good cause • It’s a good publicity for SARTS
