  10. Holocaust week This week we remember the Holocaust, where 6,000,000 Jews, Gypsies, political prisoners and other ethnic minorities were killed during WW2. Surely there is nothing heroic about this period of German history? This man, Oskar Schindler, is a hero. He saved a large number of people from the gas chamber, by insisting they were important to the German war effort as workers in munitions factories. http://auschwitz.dk/schindlerslist.htm
