  14. Zainul’s Education • After completing high school got admission to the government school of Art, Calcutta (now kolkata). • Graduted : 1938 with first class first. Teacher and Student At the same time the government school of Art, Calcutta

  15. Received the governor’s Gold Medal in all India Exhibition in 1938 for a series of water color sketches which were painted for showing the river Brahmaputra.

  16. Services • Joined as a teacher of art at the government school of Art, While he was a student of that school. • Joined the Slade School of Arts in London in 1951-52. • The first Principal of the first Art School in Dhaka in East Pakistan (Now Bangladesh).
