Situational analysis for EMR • Inventory-Inventory should be broad to include other relevant modules e.g (LMIS,PIMS) • Linkages within the hospital and between facilities • The draft should have items specification of the tools should in item format • Report should be page numbered and broken-down into components

UPGRADE OF EMR SOFTWARE, HARDWARE, HEALTH RECORDS MANAGEMENT AND CLINICAL CARE PROCESSES TO SET STANDARDS • Need to constitute a team for specs and functionality at the national level • Need for a Workshop- march 2010 • Constitute an implementation committee – Dec.2009 • Finalize upgrading report-April-June 2010 • Three days workshop in march-2010 • Three weeks workshop to implement health records management, develop clinical care procedures and review guidelines for HRIM -April 2010
