  1. Welcome to Mrs. Hill’sClassroom Back to School Night Collier School Mrs. Hill Technology

  2. Contact Information • Email: tracy.hill@collieryouthservices.org • (732)946-4771 ext.221

  3. Expectations • I believe all students have the potential to do well in my class. • Every day is a fresh start. Come in with a positive attitude, listen and participate! • If a student is not cooperating, I will give a warning. 2nd offense would be a write-up. “Every day is a new beginning. Take a deep breath, smile, and start again.”

  4. Web Page • My webpage is a work in progress. • Check back throughout the school year for updates and postings. • As the year progresses, I will showcase student work so you can see what we’re creating in the classroom.

  5. Grading scale • Classwork (assignments & projects) = 70% of final grade • Assessments (quizzes & tests) = 30% of final grade I don’t necessarily assign homework. Fridays are catch up day and free time (students may practice coding or visittheir favorite website)!

  6. Thank you! • I appreciate you taking the time to visit my classroom. • I anticipate a great school year! • Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. “The most important thing that schools can do is not to use technology in the curriculum more, but to use it more effectively.”
