  2. There are about 400 million dogs that have been born in the world. The Greyhound can run about 40 miles per hour. It is the worlds fastest dog. They also have really good eye sight.   3. Sled dogs (such as the Siberian Husky and the Alaskan Malamute) will travel from five to eighty miles or more a day. They can go twenty miles per hour. Huskies are working dogs. They live to work. If you don’t exercise them, then your dog they will be really crazy. Alaskan Malamute People have been doing dogsled races since 1908. Husky

  4. Some people enter their dogs in competitions. These are called dog shows. Lots of people train their dogs to go to the competitions. There are more than 150 dog breeds in the world. Wow, that’s a lot of dogs! White French Bulldog

  5. The oldest dog known is twenty eight ears old. Wow! That’s very old. A dogs life span is usually from ten years to fifteen years. The Labrador Retriever is the most common dog breed that people have. Dalmatian Mix

  6. The smallest dog in the world is the Chihuahua. It weighs four pounds and is five inches if you measure to the shoulders. The St. Bernard is the heaviest dog breed. It can weigh about two hundred pounds. The tallest dog breed is the Irish wolfhound. It is about thirty nine inches to the shoulders. Wow! Boxer
