  2. e-GLO 3 e-GLO, Earth Charter Global Learning Opportunity, is a semester-long, online sustainability leadership course inspired by the Earth Charter Organized earlier in 2008 and 2009.

  3. Objective of e-GLO 3 To make a positive impact on society by familiarizing local level Earth Charter youth activists with sustainability leadership skills and shared ethics. Furthermore, this course will equip them with innovative skills in sustainability project planning, management and fundraising, as well as facilitating the effective use of new media. The ultimate aim is to further develop the capabilities necessary to conduct Earth Charter inspired action projects in the participants’ own communities.

  4. Sessions • 7 sessions • every other Tuesday, 3 pm GMT • 3-hour-long online sessions • introductions, workshops, interviews with expert guests, participant presentations on local projects and e-GLO collaborative projects …

  5. e-GLO 3 • fosters creativity, motivation, new possibilities, bold action, shared values and community through ongoing opportunities to engaging with a diverse network of change makers that reaches all around the world • focuses on sustainability leadership skills, digital story telling and fund raising • encourages the active involvement of e-GLO graduates in coming back as mentors to support new participant's initiatives that promote social justice and environmental and economic sustainability • promotes the use of new technologies that foster interaction, inclusive culture and the wide distribution of global youth perspective

You will… • learn more about the Earth Charter • network with other young Earth Charter activists from around the world • receive mentorship and support with local action projects from other participants as well as from our experienced team • gain new skills in sustainability leadership, project planning and fundraising • have a great time while making a difference

  8. e-GLO Certificate • participate all of the 7 online sessions • participate actively during the sessions • listen to all presentations, engage with the speakers and text chat dialogue • complete all the homework by given deadlines • fill in the evaluation form at the end of the course.
