  10. Sense of Closure Good papers also have a sense of closure. This means the paper has a good ending that leaves the reader satisfied. Closure often links the first statement to the last.

  11. Sense of Closure Let's take a look at the following and see if we can give it a sense of closure. Last weekend we planted a garden. First, we tilled the soil. Then, we planted the plant. Last, we watered it.

  13. Revisions We have looked at many things our paper should have and have made notes about the revisions we want to make on our personal narrative. Now it is time to put it all together and make our revisions.

  14. Revisions When putting together all of your revisions ask yourself: Is it sequenced properly? Did I develop my characters? Did I use descriptive details? Did I use dialog? Did I use temporal phrases? Does it have a sense of closure?

  15. Assignment: 1. Reread your rough draft and see if it has a sense of closure 2. Make notes on these revisions 3. Rewrite your personal narrative with all of your revisions. 4. Reread your paper with once you have written your revisions Good bye
