  1. Hariharan PV (Chief Promoter & Mentor) AGRO-BIOGENICS(CLEAN-TECH) PRIVATE LIMITED TOTAL VILLAGE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (TVDP) for INDIA

  2. India's Development needs Village Development • India has 638,596 Vllages, across 3,342 Talukas and 641 Districts • Average percapita in villages is a very low Rs.6,000 • The minimum percapita needed for decent living is Rs.30,000 • That needs average value additions in villages @ Rs.5 Cr/village • Creating such Village level developments is possible • AGRO-BIOGENICS have taken up the onerous task of developing Village level Industries to convert each village into wealth creation centers … YES! We too can

  3. BASICS of Village Development (1) • An average Indian Village would have 274 households • Average household is 5 people • Average Village farmland area is about 350 ha • Present agriculture activities net average income of Rs.82.2 L per Village • Developing India needs a five-fold increase in Village incomes • This could be done by utilizing and recycling all locally available Renewable Resources (RR) and local able-bodied human resources

  4. BASICS of Village Development (2) • AGRO-BIOGENICS have developed a new paradigm that utilizes and re-cycles all agrowastes, animal wastes and other RR • The resultant system of integrated and inter-related processes would create engineered products, energy, bio-petrochemicals and bio-water • The illustration depicts a Zero-Waste Zero-Carbon Business-Model (ZW-ZC-BM) that would be operated in every Village in India to effect TVDP

  5. BASICS of Village Development (3)(Certain available Resources and converted Products)

  6. BASICS of TVDP (1) • Each village would have one ZW-ZC-BM set up • There would be 638,596 Village Co's; 3,342 Taluka Co's; 641 District Co's • Additionally each Taluka would have one Technology & Product Development Co • AGRO-BIOGENICS would support each Co, and would have stakes in each District

  7. BASICS of TVDP (2) • The first TVDP programs are beginning in Mandya District, Karnataka State • There are seven Talukas and 1580 Villages. Each would be Co's • Additionally there would be seven TPDC's • Total of 1595 Co's in Mandya District • Estimated turnover potential is over Rs.12,000 Cr

  8. BASICS of TVDP (3) • The networking of TPDC's would be as in the illustration • Six Village Co's (geographically close to one another) would form a cluster • Each cluster would have same products, and would enter into Technology/Guarantee arrangement with TPDC • TPDC's to train Village Co personnel and provide Total Tech support

  9. First TVDP programs in Pandavapura • Pandavapura Taluka in Mandya District has 192 Villages (Co's) • There would be 32 Products in Pandavapura Taluka • An example of Product is Molded Doors • These products would be classified under WOOD SUBSTITUTE • Wood Substitute classification would have over 50 individual Products

  10. Products being developed in PANDAVAPURA TPDC • TPDC (Pandavapura) has begun Agrowaste Conversion to develop Molded Doors • The first Agrowastes conversion products are planned to be Total Wood Substitute systems and Metal Substitute systems • Every such product would be produced using local RR materials such as coconut Tree wastes, Sugarcane wastes (Bagasse'), Bamboo material, Various weeds and shrub vegetation matter

  11. A Few Other Products • The Photo shows a Bamboo mat Hybrid composite Boat at Vishakhapatnam seas • Inset shows the Boat before the trial run The Photo at left shows the construction of Bamboo woven Boat

  12. The Making of Wood Substitute Products(Village workers in TVDP) Door Shutter using Bagasse' (Sugarcane waste)

  13. Development Potentials in Pandavapura • The estimated Wood substitute product systems in the Taluka are about 50,000 T (valued Rs.10,000,000,000) • There are other Product systems that would add up to still higher values – estimated total of Rs.20,000,000,000 • AGRO-BIOGENICS are planning to showcase the development of Pandavapura Taluka as the front runner to other All-India Total Village development Programs (TVDP)

  14. TVDP and Quadruple Impact Developments • The prime criterion would be increase in jobs at the “lowest” rungs of the society • The second criterion is the impact on the knowledge levels that help in enhancing current and future developments • The third criterion is the impact and potentials in business and commerce at village levels • The fourth criterion (not the least in importance) would measure how much lesser all these would impact on the environment
