  4. Learning and Resiliency School based and community based program that works to enhance youth’s internal strengths ant and resiliency. Help prevents involvement in substance abuse and violence The Lafayette Sheriff’s LRP program has been in effect since 2007.

  5. Learning and Resiliency How it Works Resiliency Groups – Identify personal strengths, goal setting, identifying talents, social skills and conflict resolution. Community Service – provides opportunities for students to participate in community service. Service is done on weekends and afterschool. Adventure Activities – Participate in activities such as RocHaus Bowling, Kart Ranch and Nature Station

  6. Learning and Resiliency Program Benefits Reduce disciplinary actions in school. Increase students perceptions of confidence and self worth. Develop awareness of substance abuse and violence. Foster community involvement to promote youth development

  8. Summer Camp Attended by Middle School and High School Students Provides a summer recreation activities laced with a variety of learning opportunities Over 200 have participated
