Authors Message • The author was trying to show how hard and difficult it would be to be 14 years old left to basically grow up alone. • Trying to keep his passion alive by turning the ranch around and start rodeo performing again • Showing how even when you are down in luck you can get back up again.
Connecting Me To The Book • Personally I have never been in this situation. However, this would be very difficult to deal with. • I have never been in a rodeo but I do enjoy going and watching them preform. • I enjoyed this book because of the problems and how the character was a strong influence. This character can help young students connect to themselves.
