  7. May Revision Slashes Potential $410 Million from 2009-10 Budget the CSU’s budget includes • $2.7 billion in state General Fund • $1.5 billion in student fee revenue. • proposed reduction represents a 15% reduction in General Fund support.   

  8. May Revision Slashes Potential $410 Million from 2009-10 Budget equivalent to reducing enrollment by 50,000 and laying off 4,000 to 5,000 employees or closing two large CSU campuses, or a combination of large fee increases and enrollment reductions of tens of thousands of students.
