This study examines the ArsR family genes in various strains of Neisseria meningitidis (MC58, Z2491, FAM18.61) and Neisseria gonorrhoeae (FA1090, FA19). Specifically, the focus is on the nadC and xthA genes, comparing their genomic sequences across different strains. Meningitidis strains revealed variations in gene length, with nadC and xthA ranging from 591 to 808 bp, while gonorrhoeae strains showed lengths of 964 to 1075 bp. Understanding these genetic differences provides insights into bacterial adaptability and potential pathogenic mechanisms.
