  2. History of IU 20 • Created by the Pennsylvania Legislature on July 1, 1971 • Consists of eight school districts in Northampton County, four school districts in Monroe County, and the Delaware Valley School District in Pike County.

  3. Key Facts • Budget totals $101 million • Approximately 1,100 full-time andpart-time staff • 79,000 public and 9,000 nonpublic school students served • Funding is provided by state, federal, local and private sources
