    3. Setting Yukon Territory Klondike Region near Mazy May Creek late 1890’s Gold Rush

    4. Plot Walt finds out that there are stampeders moving stakes in Loren Hall’s claim. Walt tries to save his claim by stealing one of the stampeder’s sled and dogs. Then he goes to Loren Hall and tells him what’s happening to his claim.

    5. Conflict The conflict is between Walt and the stampeders. Walt tries to save Loren Hall’s claim from the stampeders. Stampeders try to steal Loren Hall’s claim and get rid of Walt.

    6. Summary The summary of this story is that Walt Masters is try to get back Loren Hall’s claim without being stopped by the stampeders. Then he steals a sled with dogs and tries to get away from them. The stampeders chase him and try to shoot him and take out his lead dog. Then he stops them by whipping them and turning over their sleds. Then he picks up Loren Hall and goes to Dawson city.
