  4. Nutrition Education in Art/Music • Launch a healthy campaign in the school! • Posters, photos, and displays to promote healthy food choices • Develop signage highlighting healthy food choices in the cafeteria.

  5. Art/Music, cont. • Healthy skit or short play • Have students write jingles related to nutrition and set them to music. • Have students write poems related to nutrition and set them to music.

  7. Physical Activity in Art/Music - Preschool • Make an Activity Wheel! • Color physical activity related pictures. • Sing or play songs that include movements or dancing.

Physical Activity in Art/Music – Elementary School • Have students write poems related to exercise and set them to music. • Create puppets or characters for a student-written play about physical activity. OR have puppets sing a student-written song (or existing song) about physical activity. • Create posters that promote physical activity.

  10. Physical Activity in the Fine Arts – Middle/High School • Add dancing or other movement to musical performances. • Learn about movement in art class. • Dynamic, interactive sculpture • Get outside!
