  8. When cavity was filled, some powder got between the holder and the cover slide Side drifted sample (purple) shows Shift to higher 2theta Uneven surface can result in broadened peaks 4A 2A 5A 1B vaseline

  9. Sample holder peaks Might help you sort out the shift of your unknown dusted pattern (weak)

  10. Container said Plaster of Paris – XRD shows that it is no longer only CaSO4 but now is a three phase mixture
