  2. About NASCAR TheNational Association for Stock Car Auto Racing(NASCAR) is a family-owned and -operated business venture that sanctions and governs multiple auto racing sports events. The first owner / founder of NASCAR was Bill France Sr. in 1947. The CEO of NASCAR is Brian France the grandson of the owner. From the beginning to now NASCAR has grow from one racing series to four. They are the Sprint Cup Series, the Nationwide Series, the Camping World Truck Series, and the Whelen All-American Series. But only three are seen on TV. There are three headquarters they are at Charlotte, North CarolinaDaytona Beach, FloridaNew York City, New York. The main HQ is Daytona Beach, Florida. NASCAR is a very popular sport only one other sport has more viewers then it and that’s the NFL.
  3. Race Tracks There are tons of race tracks all around the united states some have been change some are still the same.
  4. Wreck’s Some wrecks are no so bad.
  5. Wreck’s Others not so much.
  6. First champion The very first champion was a man named Red Byron. Who won it in 1949.
  7. Champion Last years Champion was Tony Stewart.
  8. Fans Fans are the main reason NASCAR is around today with out fans there would be to NASCAR.
