Structure of the Presentation • Follows the structure of the questionnaire (developed country members had different format): • General Info • Generic teaching materials • Localisation of GTM • Vi Website • Networking and the Vi members meeting • Joint members projects • Long-term involvement with the Vi • Partnerships • Linking universities with policymakers • Furture needs of Vi members

General Info. • 61 responses, of which 25 Member coordinators; 36 Staff members • Exceptions for some questions (noted in ppt) • Most values converted to percentages • Some questions distorted a little by LDCs, who account for 30 % of sample, but only 14% of network • Of 46 people who gave their age: 27 youngest; 62 oldest; 40 average

  6. General Info. (4) • 8% of respondents received funding from the Vi only • 15% from the Vi and their university • But, 5% of those received < $5000, so potentially 13% of members receive money from the Vi only.
