Recent Achievements and Upcoming Plans: PhD Journey at The University of Manchester

In my latest updates, I reflect on significant accomplishments such as co-authoring a paper and creating a poster for IPAC, thanks to Hywel's support. My travels in Japan with Luke and James were unforgettable! I also wrapped up my first-year PhD report amidst a hectic schedule. Looking ahead, I am preparing for my viva with Roger Jones and Un-Ki this Friday, aiming to regain focus on ongoing projects like EMMA, and planning to write an application for a future Government Advisor Placement.

  2. What I have been doing: • Wrote my paper for IPAC with Hywel (many thanks to him!!) • Made poster for IPAC (again, many thanks to Hywel) • WENT to IPAC in Kyoto • Went traveling around Japan with Luke and James which was AWESOME!! • Finished a rather rushed 1st year PhD report

  3. What I’m up to next: • I will be studying and revising all this week for my viva with Roger Jones and Un-Ki on Friday. • Get back on track with what is happening with EMMA. • Write an application for the Government Advisor Placement (just in case I have time to do it in the future)
