  4. First powerful Korean Dynasty was the Koryu (this is where the name Korea comes from) Central govt. based on Confucian civil service exams Overthrown by the Mongols Dynasty

  5. Artists produced pottery Wrote the first history of Korea Wrote poetry Used block printing to write the entire Buddhist teachings Culture and Achievements
