2. Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) announced the class 12 (science) result today, on May 10. The result is available on the official website - gseb.org. The result was announced by Gujarat Education Minister Bhupendra Singh Chudasam in a press conference. The overall pass percentage is 73 per cent. Girls have outshined boys with a pass percentage of 74.9 per cent. For boys, the pass percentage is 71%. According to reports, nearly 170,000 to 180,000 students appeared in Gujarat boards this year. Of which, nearly 150,000 students appeared for HSC Science stream. Last year, the overall pass percentage of GSEB science stream was 81.89 per cent.
